The wines of Pierro are the culmination of passion, innovation, location, climate and time. Wherever our wines are enjoyed around the world today they invariably impart a tangible trace of their idyllic place of origin – warm southern climes, ancient soils, healthful vines and years of skilled hands-on viticulture and winemaking.

For over a quarter of a century we have striven to fuse these elements to produce superior wines of singular extraction, character and elegance. Our quest for heightened quality continues with each passing vintage.

2018 Pierro Semillon Sauvignon Blanc L.T.C

    THE HON. L.T.C.

Semillon & Sauvignon Blanc with just a Little Touch of Chardonnay

L.T.C., with a hint of her elegant mother, is a fresh and lively young lady from the Willyabrup Duchy. She dances lightly, melting hearts with her delightful approachability. Dressed in a subtle blend of delicate fabrics - a light and floating skirt with a structured bodice, she is most often seen with a basket of fresh, zesty citrus fruits, herbs and wild flowers over one arm. A wonderful pre-dinner conversationalist or a superb companion with whom to enjoy fresh seafood.

    PIERRO L.T.C. 2018

“One of the punchiest and most powerful expressions of this wine I can recall. It’s just got so much flavour intensity coming from that mix of sauvignon blanc semillon with the light touch of chardonnay that brings texture to the palate. Has a refreshing lip-smacking acidity. Yes drink it now, but I can cellar for up to 10 years with ease. Then you really have something. Score: 95/100”

    PIERRO Blanc de Blanc 2018

The long Indian summer of the 2018 vintage could well be the best yet in Margaret River. This cellar door favourite is bright, juicy, fresh and richly flavoured – an attractive mix of tropical fruits and citrus, all in perfect balance. You will be in for a delightful surprise if you manage not to drink it straight away and pop it in the cellar for a few years.

    THE HON. L.T.Cf.

Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot with a  Little Touch of Cabernet Franc

Introducing Pierrot - the family romantic, he secretly pines after the French Maid, who is oblivious to his sentiments. A somewhat naively trusting character, he is affectionately teased by his big sister, but takes solace in his book-learning. 12 months maturing in French oak, he spends much of this time improving his mind and developing his integrity as an artist. Somewhat shy at first, he proves himself a worthy companion over dinner, with a rich and flavoursome personality that enriches the evening. A most approachable young man, he offers quiet but thought-provoking nuances that leave you with something to think about. When the time comes for you to go home, he’ll more often than not take your arm in a gentle grip and leave you with a parting gesture that makes you smile as you step out into the night. An intriguing character, he inspires you to watch him age through the next decade to see what delights he might offer up.

    Pedigree

    60% Cabernet Sauvignon

    30% Merlot

A little touch of Cabernet Franc (10%)

(& at times a dash of Petit Verdot and Malbec)

Mozart Piano Concerto No.21 in C

Romantic, pensive, a delicate tone with some subtle weight beneath it.

    PIERRO L.T.Cf. 2015

“It’s cabernet merlot with a little cabernet franc – hence the name LTCf. It’s medium bodied, with an effortless palate structure and focus to a long finish. Perfumed notes of black olive and red berry. The palate has a tight sinewy thread and fine-grained oak in support. It all comes together with firm chalky tannins and silky-smooth oak integration. Focused and long. It’s a wine that will continue to evolve. Score: 94/100

    2016 Pierro Pino’s

    LORD PINO’S
    The Eccentric Uncle
The PIERRO Household would not be complete without beloved Uncle Pino’S. An elegantly slim gentleman, he invariably dresses in a weighty velvet jacket with a fine, silk cravat. His cologne leaves hints of briar and brambly aromas as he wanders about the room, gesticulating with expressive, aristocratic hands and bristling with his mustachios with pleasure at his own quick wit. He talks of red cherries and blackberries with a playful glint in his eye and a concentration that gives way to a bright, even vibrant personality. Delightful company in the moment, although he can occasionally benefit from a brief spell in the cellar… but don’t expect him to remember your name if you leave him down there for too long!

Gentle, light but with weighty moments - playful and sophisticated.
    Pierro Pino’S 2016
The 2016 is wonderfully perfumed with wild berry and red cherry aromas. It is medium-bodied with a bit more weight due to the 14% shiraz component that has been added. The result is underlying power, richness and depth to add to its juicy, easy drinking style. Silky, smooth and stylish. Perfect with Chinese roast duck and BBQ’d meats, especially when served slightly chilled on those warm balmy evenings.

    THE DUKE OF WILLYABRUP
    M’lud Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Reserve
Formal Head of the PIERRO Household, he stands tall, elegant and impeccably dressed in tasteful silk fabrics and a structured top hat. His quiet manner belies a subtle complexity of character derived from his exotic heritage; although predominantly of Cabernet and Merlot descent, his bloodlines reveal a hint of Cabernet Franc and a firm grasp of European linguistics. His understated presence belies a man of intelligence, refinery and subtle strength of character - like many a Duke, he defers to his formidable wife to charm their guests, preferring to linger in the billiards room where friends might join him for a fine cigar.
