Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot
With a Little Touch of Cabernet Franc
The aim of this vintage was to produce a full bodied red wine that would be delicious when young, but still have the backbone to mature and develop in the bottle for many years. To that end we chose Cabernet Sauvignon for its ability to mature gracefully and Merlot for its richness and softness. I then added a touch of Cabernet Franc for fragrance and delicacy. The result is a wine that is an ideal accompaniment to roast means and full flavoured cheeses.
